How to do Machine Learning in 2A?

WHO: Open to every ECL students, no prerequisite.
HOW: Subject to ELC courses' ranking. Your are not sure to have the course, depends on your points and the others students strategies.
WHEN: Start on February 3rd, every Wednesday morning (8:00 to 12:00) until late march.
Deadline: 15.12 (to be confirmed, please verify!)
- By choosing CHEL[s] Machine Learning at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENSL)
WHO: Open to ECL students and part of ENSL Comuter Science department Master 1 classes --> only few rooms.
HOW: Records will be considered by a jury at ENSL --> Good records in Linear Algebra (S5 MTH AN), Probability and Statistics (S5 MTH PS), and Differential Calculus (S5 MTH AA) are mandatory. Motivation letters can be (but not mandatory) sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
WHEN: Schedule: This course start on January 11th week, until late march. Your are allowed to miss the first courses due to your course duties at ECL, but you will have to catch up on slides.
Courses every Tuesday 10:00-12:00 @ENSL (CONFIRMED) and practical's day is Thursday afternoon (15.45-17.45) (CONFIRMED).
Deadline: 09.12 (application on CHEL[s] ressources)
- Disclaimer: you can apply to both (I recommend it for motivated students) BUT you can be part of only one course. If you have S8 LEC ML @ECL, your application to CHEL[s] will not be considered.
These courses share substantially a large body of topics. Yet, the scope is rather different, ENSL course is part of CS studies with CS students from ENSL, ECL course has a broarder audience.
This is a seminar and practical course in machine learning theory.
